I will never understand why some baseball fans will hate the Yankees the way they do. Derf was the same way.....almost as if it was personal. Maybe vic is an ex-Yankee player that got cut.

When the Red Sox beat the Yankees in the ALCS back in 2004(?) I was disappointed but rooted for the Red Sox to win the World Series.

I doubt if Vic could ever root for the Yankees to win.
