I think it should be stated that "authorizing" and "issuing" are not the same, some people don't understand the difference. The main objective in authorizing, is to make the shares available for issuance if need be in the future.
Regarding a profit, I think the company should post close to break even numbers. The revenues will more than likely be significantly higher and we all may just get a pleasant surprise with positive earnings. I look for bigger news beyond the numbers. Will know soon enough.
Stephens. I was told by Mr. Steckel, that he had no association with the company and hasn't in the last two years.
Exact opposite of what was posted here. As to animosity, he stated that to the best of his knowledge, there was none, and that he could not explain his selling. He also stated that he "heard" that he was doing so due to his age, but he could not confirm that "rumor." It would be nice to have the company issue an update to investors regarding this subject, as it certainly is a major sticking point. It is always better to be honest and upfront with the shareholders, rather than staying mute or worse, misrepresent a situation. For now, I am going to wait for the next PR, and if there are questions to be raised, I will be calling him for answers.
PS: I do believe his statement that he does not follow the stock price, as he told me the same thing, and was noticibly off guard when I told him how much the stock had declined. Our discussion was based primarily on the direction of the company, its outsourcing capabilities to meet future demands, foreign shipments, etc., and other topics. My personal take on the man, judged from our chat? Forward, straight up, honest, and driven to success. A good backround, and someone I feel confident in backing.
