I can't recall a time when the "problems" weren't awful, some more awful than others. What we're going through now has happened before with the exception of Mr. Greenspan's fear of deflation. He hasn't seen it since he was a lad, and I'm pretty sure that he's not sure how to deal with it. Unfortunately he's got the unenviable job of solving all and helping to make us all prosperous.
