imo, Stockhocker is the spoofer, at least it's starting to look that way. I know that Stockhocker and Spec29 are respected posters but it is starting to appear that they got caught without all their shares.
There are several posters, inlcuding myself, who claim to have received email from wbrandhuber@erhc.com. The only way my reply was "spoofed" is if somebody else has been able to obtain the erhc.com domain and has secured the wbrandhuber@erhc.com email addy.
Now ask yourself a simple question. IF somebody hijacked WB's email addy, and IF that person is willing to subject themselves to criminal penalty, inlcuding large fines and jail time, WHY oh WHY would such a deceiver include such "price spiking" lines as
///"We will be addressing these stories shortly. We are finalizing the hiring of an investor relation firm to provide more information and better address shareholder concerns."///
///"At this point in time I cannot comment on the legal issues surrounding the search until reviewed by our legal counsel. We are hiring an investor relations firm to better address shareholder concerns and provide information on the company's activities. In the interim I request a little more patience as we organize our effrts."///
///"I understand your concern. We are in the process of hiring a public relations firm to better address shareholder issues. We will also seek to provide more information on the company's activities. Please be patient."///
///"I understand your concerns and am taking steps to rectify the situation. We have a very small organization and can not hope to address all the e-mails received. We are hiring a investor relations firm to better address shareholder concerns and to provide better information on the company's activities. Please be patient a little longer and you will see a vast improvement."///
etc, etc, etc,
WOW! AFTER ALL THOSE "SPOOFED" REPLIES I SIMPLY CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY OUR PRICE IS NOT OVER $10 LMAO.
Go ahead stockhocker and pals. Keep trying to prolong this spoof charade if you think it is really going to keep the share price down while you try to get your shares back.

Glad to know others are digging into this. As I said earlier, I have not gotten to the bottem of this, but I will. It will take another week or so, as I have very little free time. I had someone research this today and his response was that from what he can tell, this is a Spoofed email.
What does this mean at the end of the day? Probably nothing more than that we have pranksters at work. I've stated all along that I have serious doubts that a CEO of any public company would send emails to individual investors. All I am doing is using what I know to see if this is real or not.
Like I said, I am not alleging that Mark or Art said or did anything improper. I really don't see Joe behind this, but the thought does make me smile.
Whether WB sent these or JS, it doesn't change the amount of oil under our blocks. It just adds to the mystique that is ERHC.

I am an IT professional and have been amused by all the talk of phishing, spoofing, etc.. This type of thing definitely does happen, but not on a direct email reply. That would take a really concerted effort to pull off ... way beyond the scope of being feasible for a purpose, such as this.
Stockhocker or Bill Gates himself cannot determine the legitimacy of these emails from the information given. At best, they can only offer their opinions that would be based on hunches or gut feelings.
Let's move on to more relevant topics and leave these types of issues to the FBI, CIA or Norton.

Stocks2rise and Stockhocker, I suggest you leave the email investigations to others with more skills. You have both completely botched what is a simple analysis. The reference to "ERHC on the move" appears in the subject line. It does not identify a server name. The references to Intermedia are key. that is the server that sent the e-mail. A CURSORY web search of Intermedia shows it to be a company that hosts mail servers for other companies. This investigation took all of 5 minutes, so leave your "I'm too busy excuses at the door".
