I'm a General too...check out ABS pipe lately...yikes ...and our old friend concrete is about $92 a yard last year or two it has been about $42. I have actually seen my lumber packages coming down recently. Now they are trying to crack down on our undocumented labor pool...sheesh.:) It was good while it lasted I guess.

Steve,
I used to do contract work myself and gave it up 5 years ago. I recently finished a basement at my girlfriends house and was shocked at the prices I was paying for materials. I had to buy a roll of 12/2 romex to do some wiring and paid over triple what I last recall paying, so anyone who is denying inflation must be living in a cave somewhere or living at home with mom and dad.

RCKS, that's one reason why a lot of subs aren't getting paid in a lot of places right now. Call it the trickle down effect. They are the ones to feel it first.
