Joe, Re: Has Intel released the SPEC scores of Madison (and others in the family)?

SGI is the only one so far.

1077/1077 SPECint
2041/2055 SPECfp

http://www.sgi.com/newsroom/press_releases/2003/june/altix_benchmarks.pdf

FWIW, here are the SPEC scores for the HP workstation zx6000 and SGI Altix 3000 systems using McKinley. Since the HP machine is a DP workstation, you would expect higher integer performance due to optimizations around latency, rather than bandwidth.

HP:
807/--- SPECint
1422/1422 SPECfp

SGI:
683/683 SPECint
1396/1410 SPECfp

SGI improved their scores by 58% in SPECint and 46% in SPECfp (exceptional scalability, considering only a 50% increase in clock frequency and double L3 cache).

If HP gets the same percentages, they will have 1275 SPECint and 2076 SPECfp, higher than any other SPEC scores to date.
