I don't think you will see a merger between Sirius and XM, until maybe (if) another player comes along and is the size of one of these guys now; (anti-trust and other issues). Plus, I don't think the market would support another player, just yet, so I ould not get excited about that.
What would, in my opinion, get stock prices moving would be added subscription numbers, and I've got to tell ya, as much as I like my Sirius, there is room for improvement; especially in reception quality. I know you may not be able to receive under a bridge or in a parking garage, but for God's sakes when you are 100 feet from an 18-wheeler and you start loosing the signal, that's nothing but crummy.
I will hand it to programming, though. Sirius is excellent, there.
