Yes intravitreal clearly better, AVA-201 is intravitreal. 201 is supposed to use a next-gen vector and they also talk about directed vector evolution, AAVL have a license with UC for that.

David Schaffer (4DMT) and his team did most of the work at UC Berkeley on vector directed evolution, could be license is for common IP used by 4DMT.
