Inspector Joe, I worked OFFSHORE on Exxon-Mobile deep water rigs off the Santa Barbara coast in 2008/9, so I have a better than the average understanding dimension of oil/gas and the mentality of oil men. Yes, the MRU's have taken longer than usual to develop and deploy for testing but I would think that the safety testing like OSHA level before even a test MRU can be put into the field. Believe me I'm a bit disappointed that we have nothing to put our teeth into by May 2015. Our patience will pay off.
My apologies to the two oil guys. Had no way to know you were directly associated with the oil and gas industry. I got burnt before and am a lot more cautious now. As good as this sounds and might turn out to be a gold mine,I am still going to go slow until I see an actual working MRU.
