My favorite Yankee teams are probably from the 70's even though it was a bit zooey! With all of the World Series that the Yankees have been in, I only went to one in 1976 when they were swept by the Reds. I remember Thurman playing his heart out. I bet that's another time that you remember exactly what you were doing......when Thurman was killed in the plane crash. I have enjoyed the teams under Torre also but the current one and last year's just seem to be missing something...can't put my finger on it but they just don't jell like they used to. Still fun to watch though!
