STS I was thinking about that too when I read it. Now Jelis had the combo of statin plus EPA and I believe they saw the EPA/AA ratio go down in the EPA group. Did they measure that in that study or am I confused???

yes Statins increase AA- but the effect already happened in JELIS - so Im not worried....

but it might explain why despite lowering TGS by 80% you get a ~25% Risk reduction from statins...

The danger of statins raising AA are no where near the benefits of increasing EPA in this equation.

Yes we have noted this in previous posts around a year ago! Not to the extent that corn/vegetable, oils ans other substances do. Statins effect on inflammation veto's the anti-inflammatory effects by a large margin.
