Pschae, you make some very good points. There is indeed a dearth of information, as I commented before, and the pink sheets just do not provide the means for doing a really thorough DD. No reputable analysts have reviewed this company or NorthWest, so we are left with the little that is available on which to make a judgment.
As Tevia would say... on the other hand... there is a substantive report filed with the Frankfurt exchange that provides a pretty rosy picture. How truthful the information is, I don't know. But they have sure gone to a lot of trouble to produce such a voluminous and thorough assessment... if this were a scam, it is sure a complex one, i.e. they have gone to an awful lot f trouble to make it both believable and consistent. And there is quite a bit more, which has been reviewed here quite a bit.
On the other hand... I have looked at plenty of US stocks that are throroughly analyzed, reviewed, plenty of DD material available, good prospects, well liked... and that turned out to be crap. A couple of years back I would not have touched Kmart... and look at it now. On the other hand, Enron looked pretty good too.
So there is a judgment call here too. I for one am satisfied with what's been presented. Yes, there are potential pitfalls, but... maybe I should just stay home, not cross the street, not drive, not take any chances at all. What a boring life that would be for me.
If I am wrong, well it won't have been the first time. If I'm right, it won't have been the first time for that either. Life is good, no matter. Risk taking is part of life.
In any case, thanks much for your insightful commentary - it provides a healthy dose of food for thought.
