can anyone here comment on how widely used amiodarone is? My impression is it is not use a whole heck of alot and likely not going to change hep c prescribing patterns much, except if docs start to shy away from harvoni for patients with heart issues or arrhythmias in general. This is probably unlikely unless amiodarone is important to have in the toolbox for these cardiac patients for future use, say if they arrest, go into v-tach, etc.
