Ticker: TREN The Company recently acquired Torrent Energy which trades under TREN. Last week the Company acquired the rights to thepokertour.com and expects to merge The Poker Tour (TPT) into Torrent Energy. Torrent Energy will change its name to TREN TV and will operate as an online television network. TPT will operate as a poker tour similar to WSOP and WPT but will air its tour online. The goal with TPT will be to create the first actual poker tour that does not require a buy-in and limits the fields based on rankings similar to golf and tennis. The Company intends to have 10-15 channels within the network. The initial channel will be the Poker Network. This channel shall operate The Poker Tour (TPT). TPT will operate as a poker tour similar to WSOP and WPT but will air its tour online. Once a base of web traffic and viewers has been established, the Company intends to expand to include additional channels.
Torrent Energy: Torrent Energy Corp. is a Colorado corporation. The Company developing various gourmet food products. The Company has begun development of compound butter and expects to begin development of a pancake and waffle syrup in November 2014. The company has begun developing compound butter flavors of: Maple, Pecan Brown Sugar, Blueberry, Strawberry, Orange Balsamic Vinegar, Cinnamon and Pumpkin Spice.
If Torrent suddenly didn't follow through with the stated role, then it undermines Southcorp's backing of Nate's. I don't see how TREN not seeing some major updates in filings is even remotely financially beneficial to anyone involved.
I am not expecting any financial filings on TREN...if there are any then it will exceed my expectations...I think you are right there is a connection between TREN/NHMD/STHC...what is really going on and who really owns TREN is anyone's guess...since NHMD does not provide a list of insider ownership...I am guessing that Nate and possibly the other insiders might also have a direct stake in TREN...otherwise I do not see the benefit to them to be selling product at an equivalent cost as what is expected to be sold to costco for on-line sales...unless they have a guarantee that TREN will do similar volumes to costco..etc
The other indicator that leads me to believe that Nate has a stake in TREN is that TREN is developing these additional products..butter and syrup...outside of Nate, I am not aware of any of the WB guys having a background in food development...
I'll throw a few hundred $$ at TREN and see what happens...
