NVEI does not have a hi-def DVD. SIL is not being released on hi-def DVD. Microsoft licensed a promotional clip from SIL for its demonstrator DVD. NVEI got $70,000 for the license, and they will get no more for it. NVEI has not come out with a hi-def DVD. While Artisan may release SIL on DVD, there has been no statement that I know of that it will be hi-def, and the release will probably not happen until next summer.

GrooveMaster, just becasue there are 2 million HighDef DVD sets out there it doesnt mean that all those people would be interested in the SIL movie. It will be a small fraction. That is way to optimistic, imo.
