I said this was aggresive.
In eary 2003 USA TODAY ran an article on High Definition. It had two pictures of the USA. One was captioned people that can get one High Def station at their residence The difference was that one was in June of 02 and the other was in December. (I could be off on the dates but you get the idea) The June caption showed much less that 50% and the later caption showed over 75% If I remember correctly almost 100%. They have been selling High Def ready sets for years with virtually no content. Anyone that owns a $1500, $3000, $5000, 15000 tv set is the type of person that likes to invite people over to show off their stuff. I am speculating that a bitchin surfer movie is just the thing that they would want playing on their set even if there was a bunch of content available which there is not. Another point throwing that one aside is this. Ask anyone that owns a High Def Tv this question. Do you wish there was more things you could watch in High Def?
If you have not watched much High Def programing it is out of this world. For example watching a football game is quite different. (half of this last years Playoff games and the SuperBowl were in High Def, you only get High Def with the proper equipment) You are watching blades of grass fall off a guys cleats it is that clear.
So my point is once you watch in High Def you do not want to watch any other way. These people are hungry for content and who wouldn't want a nice soothing surf movie anyway.
