Hi Patricia,

Is there a thread where the names of stock promoters are listed.

Not that I know of ... you just have to figure it out for yourself which can take a long time. I would say a person is probably a stock promoter if they post on the same few stocks and make posts to those threads every day for months on end ... like 6 to 12 months. Normally if they post only the odd time on the same stocks but post over a long time they are likely investors. You learn the patterns for different types of posters and that should show you if they are:

a) a daytrader
b) a position trader
c) an investor
d) a stock promoter
e) a short seller


You can usually tell when you are talking to a regular person like yourself if you follow their posts for a while.

Truth is a moving target, unfortunately. Slips through your fingers like jello. Today's hero, tomorrow's goat.

In a Zero-Sum game, you can't have a winner unless there's a loser, or many. That's the American Way. Tax exceptions, selective law enforcement, pac money, build more prisons, shoot down missionaries' Cessnas, sell expired pharmaceuticals to stupid people in third world countries, ad nauseum. Can't win? Just snatch all the marbles, and game's over. Declare victory and doe-see-doe on to the next. Good luck searching for truth. It's everywhere and nowhere. IHUB? Possibly. Sunset at Mallory Square Key West's as good as any place to start. At least you'll stay warm and high...
