Truth is a moving target, unfortunately. Slips through your fingers like jello. Today's hero, tomorrow's goat.

In a Zero-Sum game, you can't have a winner unless there's a loser, or many. That's the American Way. Tax exceptions, selective law enforcement, pac money, build more prisons, shoot down missionaries' Cessnas, sell expired pharmaceuticals to stupid people in third world countries, ad nauseum. Can't win? Just snatch all the marbles, and game's over. Declare victory and doe-see-doe on to the next. Good luck searching for truth. It's everywhere and nowhere. IHUB? Possibly.
