There should be some time there I would think. COV is still trading and that was announced in June. I think your other points are valid, but warrants would be factored in to price.

I've never heard of a public company being bought and the deal closing immediately. Regulatory, votes, etc. would leave plenty of time to exercise I would think.

There is not a whole lot of demand in the warrants. When I was purchasing/selling them...you have to do it in small quantities otherwise one individuals order will change the bid/ask. I've got over 300k of the E warrants. By no means would I have enough cash if there was a buyout to exercise them but I would be able to dump them for a hefty profit IF a buyout would occur....even if its a few cents below the buyout price. There would be time to exercise/sell the warrants but you're right...you would need to figure it out relatively quickly. I had Mako stock when the buyout was announced and sold that day....no reason to hang onto the stock unless you think there will be a better offer coming. Right now I am down big time on these warrants!!!!

Involved in a warrant buyout years ago, that didn't have any problems.

I don't think it's an issue, if so, if i hold the $ 2 warrant and the buyout is $ 15, I'll pay a "little" premium if necessary.
