It sounds like "Class Council" could mean our case is considered a "Class Action."

I don't think we are in the same situation as Stanford Financial. It has been my understanding that Golden Gate paid their $1.55 million to the SEC in 2009. I'm pretty sure our fund is deposited .

Melissa Harmon is the Judge handling our Motion To Disburse.

A friend of mine sent a letter to the SEC in early December. He got the following reply this morning.

My name is Susan Pecaro and I am the attorney handling the Golden State Equity Investors distribution for the SEC Office of Distributions. I am in receipt of your recent email regarding the pending Motion to Disburse, which was filed with the Court last August. I wanted to let you know that I am aware of the delay and have been in touch with the court clerk to let them know that there are many investors who are awaiting the Court’s decision in this matter. I will let you know as soon as the Order is signed. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact me.

It's interesting that Ms Pecaro mentioned that we are in a delay.
