12/15/14 Armina Arbitration Scheduling conference on July 28, 2014, InterDigital filed an amended petition in the Delaware District Court to reflect the revised award of approximately $23.6 million (which will continue to accrue interest until payment by Arima). On August 21, 2014, Arima filed a cross-petition to vacate, or in the alternative to modify, the arbitration award. The parties have fully briefed their respective petitions and are awaiting a decision from the court.

Could be any day now that the decision is rendered. Remember, most Arb cases are decided and appeals generally are heard but disregarded.

Jist: In regard to the Arima arbitration, IDCC filed a petition to confirm the award, and Arima responded with a normal "Cross-Petition to Vacate and/or Modify the Arbitration Award". However, Arima also filed a Counterclaim against IDCC. Since the filings have been sealed don't know what Arima's answer to the arbitration award and their separate counterclaim are about. We might get some idea of what is going on after the next week's scheduling conference.
