$MVTG$......Clean Energies, Clean Industries, Clean Air, no dependence on foreign oil and so on. Why Not. MVTG's ERC and MRFC patented techs will be a part of the future..... Still can't figure why people can't see or breath in L.A. or China at times, even Europe.!!!! Summers getting hotter, Extreme storms becoming frequent (snow or rain), oceans and lakes becoming acidic. Good luck with the flat earth theorist. And the KOCH bros. also.

BTW: There is bad science on both sides. Too much money and too much politics on both sides. I remember when those critical of the theory where getting railroaded out of academia, and research positions, etc. So I am sympathetic to the argument that the reason there is such a huge consensus is that there is nobody left to take the other side. Pure science is a wonderful thing, unfortunately, there is little of it on this topic.

I think this is a useful conversation when it comes to MVTG and CCU technology. It doesn't have to be political, it can just be about the technology.

I am not a political person, I think the political system is completely broken beyond repair, so when I talk about this topic it is with no political agendas or any implied support for any of the so called "solutions." I just try to look at facts of "what is" and leave it at that.

Having said that, I am also 100% convinced that we are seeing global climate change at a level maybe never seen before in history, or only rarely seen. And I believe that humans are contributing significantly to it.

It seems only logical to me that mankind, who we know for a fact are capable of polluting wide swaths of the oceans, depleting fishing stocks worldwide, polluting and depleting fresh water supplies globally, causing (according to recent reports) the elimination of maybe 40% of the species on this planet over the last 50 years, and are capable of mass producing weapons that could eliminate all life on earth many times over could negatively impact the atmosphere and pump it so full of C02 that it could and would impact weather patterns.

We know nuclear testing after WWII completely changed our planet. We can actually test stuff and know whether it dates pre-WWII based on levels of radioactive isotopes in the soil globally. We had the dust bowls in the early part of last century that created walls of dust from 1,000 to 3,000 feet high that swept across the entire continent caused by human activity. We have Cherynobyl that impacted thousands of sq miles. Recently we have pictures of the scale and scope of the pollution in China and the increased seismic activity caused by fracking.

So why the debate over whether or not humans might be impacting our atmosphere in a negative and material way? It seems obvious that they could and probably are impacting it.

This modern debate over climate change reminds me of the debate over whether cigarettes and smoking posed a major health risk to the public or not. That debate raged on for decades until it became obvious that, yes, of course they were hazardous to your health. And now we know that most tobacco companies knew that for decades but covered it up to protect their profits.

Too many people get lost in data. This causes many to miss the forest for the trees. It is like the old adage, "who are you going to believe? Me? Or your lying eyes?"

If you have never seen the movie "Chasing Ice" I highly recommend it. The visible evidence all around us continues to pile up. At some point this will no longer be debated or argued. It will be just like how the debate over cigarettes ended...with a whimper.

And here is the kicker...follow the money. I am talking about the real money. The most powerful institutions on this planet believe this is happening, and they are already investing and planning for ways they can either directly profit from it, or at least mitigate it's impacts on their core businesses.

mr crow-i agree mantra is in a special place to benefit from taking a product of our manufacturing and making something usable out of it. Full stop. I don't trust anything any government says about anything. Come on, Mantra, make the planet a better place. Make us longs rich! (Al Gore is a billionaire now)

However that is a great educational post that is all about why MVTG was formed and why Professor Colin Oloman of UBC University devoted nearly 20 years of his life and research to inventing the MVTG technologies and now many of his students have joined MVTG thanks to his guidance.
