That type of thinking is called "anecdotal evidence"; people think that if they see something then it must be transferrable to the general population. That's just not how things work.

JAMN isn't in a lot of locations, but that doesn't really matter at this point. If there are 5 stores in my area and JAMN is in 2 of them, I don't really need the other 3 stores to carry JAMN. While some people are very loyal to a store, most people will shop at several area stores to get the things that they want. At the beginning of the year, JAMN was in 500 stores and they grew to 5,000 stores by the end of the year; they are now in 10 times the stores. However, sales didn't go up by a factor of 10; sales are only up 300% and have been flat ever since.

JAMN is probably not going to be in Walmart; the store would beat up JAMN too much on price and there's no way JAMN could service that many locations. Plus it doesn't match the premium image that JAMN wants to have. They've started with Target, but you know that's not going anywhere - it's why there hasn't been a press release about it. They're in all the major chains, so all that's left are the smaller stores. The small stores aren't worth pursuing; it costs too much to get the product on the shelf. So growth is pretty much over, and even if it wasn't adding stores isn't going to increase sales all that much.

Yes I speculate on explosive growth because I have friends who drink the coffee and they love it.
