A17, nice post! I agree with all the points from BK, DID, and yourself on uplisting. Your post covers most of the positive reasons to uplist. I also agree with BK that it does not matter what exchange a stock is on, there will always be fluctuations in the share price and no matter where it trades you are open to some sort of manipulation. Besides Institutions and financial advisors, many retail investors/traders will also not buy OTC stocks. I have invested/traded stocks for 35 years (started at age 16), and for the last 30 years would not even look at OTC, after losing on a few scam stocks early on. CTIX had so much promise, I broke my own rule and started buying this OTC stock 2 years ago. I have many friends and family that will not invest in CTIX because it is OTC. Once CTIX moves to a higher exchange it will draw a whole different subset of the retail market.
Some posters here have had bad experiences with the uplisting of some of their stocks. I believe that it all depends on the stock and the circumstances surrounding it.
Can someone point out a stock that has performed poorly after uplisting that meets the following criteria ahead of uplisting?
1) Did not do a Reverse Split.
2) No institutional ownership and no broker/analyst following
3) Share Price at least 50% undervalued
4) Has this many retail investors that own large amount of shares that are locked down for the long term.

I believe when institutions and more investors get involved that the remaining float is going to get eaten up, this will dramatically effect the SP to the positive.

Yes, the company still needs to continue to execute.

Everyone have a great day!
