I would hope the Chinese are turning on to social justice simply because their new found status as a regional and perhaps future world leader demands it, albeit we never caught on to that. The Dragon also knows that the United States is stirring up trouble through the majority of the Chinese people in need. The US has established a Uighur Government-in-exile and it would seem we are orchestrating riots or sowing seeds of dissention in the Uighur/Xinjiang province of China, the same may be said of the Chinese farmers. One of the reasons China has reached out to Saudi Arabia is for a calming influence on the Uighurs.
We are now getting a close up glimpse of how this works through our own immigration demonstrations which look to be backed by the World Social Forum, Chavez, Castro and cohorts. Your average Latino protester is oblivious to the true instigators of the demonstrations.
Is China going through a moral enlightenment or are they protecting their sovereignty? The latter is a sure bet the enlightenment we will have to wait and see.
