"local" to me means a response in the tumor itself - not growing (least of the meaning) or shrinking to gone, no tumor cell (most of the meaning)
"systemic" to me, means at minimum - disease stabalization - that's a great at minimum given these stage of disease!
"systemic" could mean so many greater things than the minimum... tumors nearby could be shrinking (surgery could be possible), no live tumor cells, Immune memory...
We need science folks to weigh in on possible means. At minimum, they have seriously good results to report - longer life for seriously sick patients. At maximum, they have cancer treatment results to report that could change how patients are treated in the future!
