""Class warfare"
I'd like to see you back that up.
What was the popular vote again"

ergo sum....
I am not sure what you are asking - are you questioning that algore used a populist class warfare campaign theme?? If so, I suggest you check what even his fellow dems thought about his campaign, or better what Lieberman had to say about it (he claimed it cost them the election.)
The fact that a lot of folks voted for him does not alter his message.
BTW - about all of this "Bush is lying about WMD's" garbage - it seems everyone forgets that both willie and algore believed it and called for military action. Of course willie (who could never do anything right) sent in a bunch of cruise missiles and blew up an aspirin factory and gave a few camels sore butts, but that is beside the point. They both believed exactly the same thing that Bush said and came to the same conclusion about what needed to be done. The difference is that Bush actually did something while willie could never make up his mind - distracted, I guess. Also, virtually all of the dem leadership and all but the far lefties believed it also (and still do, as any intelligent person would), based on the same intelligence.
It's all politics, pure and simple. Amazing though that the lefties always fall for it.
