Body language and confidence.

Yes there were posts earlier this year or late last year where posters were talking about how confident they were based on Linda's body language and how her voice exuded confidence.

I have to say I laughed at this also. It was quite comical.

We talk about how opinion on this board leans toward everything positive, but that really was grasping at straws. I guess we all want to perceive something that backs up our investment. We all need the intelligence to insure our perspective is not being deceived by the overzealous.

I agree with Vator - she has always been professional in her tone and style. Certain people have inappropriately commented on her "turtlenecks" and other personal characteristics, much like news articles that mention how a female candidate is dressed but which would never remark on a male candidate's attire. These types of personal comments generally seemed aimed at diminishing credibility or stature and have nothing to do with the substance of the presentations - which is amazing! I don't recall another female CEO quite as obsessed over as Linda is, although anyone who has the intellect, creativity and strategic abilities that she does, and has managed to stay two steps ahead of some pretty evil and powerful people the way she has would be an great person to know.
