No it says the mix is *projected* and *estimated* to be 50% but the actual last mix was 60 or 70 depending on where you think the estimate comes in. My mix would be similar to Josef's with a bit more Semprons and less A64s but with a higher price. The other thing you are missing is that what is being sold does not always reflect what's currently in the price list as a lot of it is in current vendor inventory.

If AMD are heavily discounting why have they raised prices on A64s recently ? What would be the point ?

As to providing real data I'm the only one out of us two who has. AMD's own data as to their own low product mix, analyst reports which back this up and which *directly* attribute the low asp to and finally Fab36 only producing Semprons and single-core A64s.

You on the other hand have looked at the proportion of OEM offerings which tell us nothing about what quantity each is sold in, Mike's reseller list which I doubt is representative of every reseller's list around the whole world considering the US is an expensive mature market slanted to higher performing products.

Finally the official price list which is forward looking and perhaps tells us more of what next quarter would be like and tell us little about what parts in vendor's inventory has been sold in the last quarter. You would have been better of looking at a price list at the beginning of last quarter if you are going to play this asp game in which you do make some rather elementary fundamental mistakes on your basic assumptions.
