A few people on this thread have taken part in a little exercise in setting up a product mix scenario to fit the $90-something ASP. Others have commented on this exercise and accept the discounting conclusion:
I don't know what model the analysts are using, but since it's no more complicated to create an ASP scenario than plugging in some numbers and doing a calculation, it doesn't take more than an unqualified amateur to accomplish.
And by the way, even your own link concludes that the Sempron mix is 50%, which is what I have been saying all along:
So now we have your current post, which provides *no* data, *no* scenario, only empty trash-talking. It's pretty clear which one of us is in denial over AMD's discounting practices.
If you want to add to the conversation other than your usual fly-by troll posts, it's time to provide the data or the scenario that proves your point. Otherwise, I don't see how anyone is going to take your ramblings seriously.
