It's a marketing strategy. In my opinion, MYEC's main revenues won't be coming from MJPay related business, but from large scale back-end payment processing.

It's undeniable that there is A LOT of hype surrounding the MJ market and where it's heading. It's a current issue with a lot of awareness. Not only are there a ton of other penny stock companies in the MJ sector, but other large NASDAQ companies as well. Check out GW Pharmaceuticals. http://www.gwpharm.com/

Medical Marijuana is powerful medicine. It can be used or abused just like any medicine. Here is a video on a child whose seizures have been helped dramatically by marijuana.

FYI...The people you classify as "old farts" or "polarizing" have a wide variety of societal roles and perspectives on the topic of MJ legalization whether for criminal justice reform or alternative medicine.

You really ought to read the press releases issued this year. They all touch on the items you think are missing, except rent. That will likely be addressed with the apps being released in January.

your analogy is pretty far off. Placing cannabis in the same sector as "smut magazines" is kind of funny really. It's a drug that was removed from the public for reasons I would ridicule for pages, but you can do the research. You would be more on the right track placing it next to alcohol, cigarettes, and coffee if you're trying to present it in that fashion. In reality, it's being pushed as a medical solution, which would put it in an even higher precedent.

mjpay is not "sub-section" and is very substantial. Every news medium would want a piece since it's on the edge of legislature and could move the future of what will be a legal drug in due time (imho).

I would hope they target food, rent, and gas, but that's a saturated market that is a given to have an ad campaign in. Mjpay is an niche that can gain massive exposure.

It's still perplexing how some people have such a terrible view on cannabis. I guess they are the ones that frown upon any drug, which is just ignorant.
