I don't think the FDA will agree to a lower powered trial.
Nor do I think that Amarin should try and shorten the trial at a lower power ...it makes the results less convincing IMHO

Amarin has already sunk a ton of $ and time into this ..the last thing they want is the results dismissed because the trial was considered under powered.
