why would you sell now when the company is worth so much more down the road!?

Out of necessity....

The valuation of Yahoo (with BABA shares included) puts it in the multiple of billions category.

They need to keep shareholders satisfied and will either do a buyback,announce a dividend or both.

I just hope they have a few revenue-producing ideas in mind for the future,so they don't always have to run to the "well."

Go to the "well" too many times and even it will run dry.
