Thanks for the clarification.

CA the state has a very large latino popultion. Much of it doesn't speak spanish at all. Many are bilingual. None of the ones I know personally have any problem with English as the official language. In fact one friend of mine resents people assumming that she does speak spanish when she doesn't.
