bulldzr .. When will this end Danny?
On this specific topic (the lobbying effort), my posts will stop when in my judgment the amateurish attempts at shareholder activism by a group of misguided, disgruntled individual investors either cease or no longer pose a credible threat to the value of my investment in IDCC. With regard to the latter, I will reach that conclusion by monitoring how effective or ineffective they are in their lobbying efforts with institutional investors that they announced in a PR on 5/14. Yesterday's price action seems to suggest that they have not been very effective to date. I expect I will be able to deduce more after the ASM and the vote count on prop #2 is announced. I doubt that I will learn much of anything between now and then. So the soonest I will stop posting about the lobbying group would be 6/5. Should I feel the need to keep posting on this subject after 6/5 I promise to be sensitive to your strong wish to know as soon as possible when I think I might stop and you will be the first to know.
As for when my posting will end completely, I will continue to provide my observations on anything having to do with the subject of institutional ownership .. my primary area of expertise and experience .. until it is clear to me that the majority of the members of this board no longer feel that I have anything of value or substance to contribute on that subject. I can't be more specific in terms of a date but I assure you I won't have to be asked to leave. I will have left well before that point.
Have a great weekend. Mine unfortunately is going to be devoid of golf because the lobbying group has somehow conspired with Mother Nature to have it rain the entire time.
