AAPL initiated it because they have to according to the MTA if they want to continue the agreement forward. Tom said as much in the last call.

we’re pleased that Apple wanted to extend that and we were able to reach agreement to extend it through February of 2015.

I never said AAPL has nothing to gain. To the contrary they are covering their bases in case LQMT were too produce something of value. History would argue AAPL has nothing to gain.

How about this? You tell me why AAPL renewed? My reasons remain the same. It cost nothing to do so and protects their interest. Period.

Would anyone know. ---If Tom has ever been asked what. LQMT would STAND TO GAIN from all these agreements that THEY AGREE to where there is apparently little if any benefit to the company? Have a good day.
