Just a point of reference I use (short term): Bullish when the price holds up when there appears to be more selling than buying. Today, the Bid and Ask have moved up when the last trades were at the Bid. Been observing this with CTIX lately. This could be very short term oriented, but sometimes I notice this pattern before a breakout. Believe most of the accumulation lately is not from average retail. Big fish in the pond? I usually wait for confirmation before taking action, but this activity puts me on the alert.
noretreat, your post:
Stock may not be headed up but it is not going down either. The remarkable thing about CTIX this year is the almost complete lack of volatility. I hope everyone that wanted a bargain bought in heavily during the brief trip to 1.40...but even there the volume was still tiny. That one day trip down from 1.54 to 1.40 and back generated less than 400K shares.
This is highly unusual for stocks at this stage. It is not unusual for 50% swings up and down as rumors circulate
