Dear KAM,

What about APT patents? If you can copied and reserve engineering and claimed it is your design, what is the Patents for? Just my 2 cents related to APT patents.

Short of the monster moto frame boxing in the engine they look very similar. Granted I'm not sure how many ways you can redesign a motorcycle frame.

Curious on what part of the design patent infringement is being claimed. The way the seat attaches and the 4 corners of the frame are pretty much the same. I know it doesn't appear that way, but I suppose the way parents are written could change things up quite a bit. I won't hold my breath on a win in court though.

How did you come about choosing these two pix?

Do you know for sure that these are the designs in question?

Can you provide the source?

I would have to agree that the frames shown here are nothing alike.

Monster's frame is immature at best. The "sturdy" thought you offer to downplay Motovox's design is understood from the "more is better" way of thinking.

Fortunately, structural integrity is not measured by lots of welds and pieces. An egg, for example, is simplistic in design yet extremely strong and light. Ever try to crush one with your hand?

I weigh 220 lbs and have sat and rode on my daughters Motovox bike. It is very sturdy. I would suspect the frame could hold much more, since it feels very solid when I am on it.

What about the non compete clause?
