Rendering is the process of generating an image from a model (or models in what collectively could be called a scene file), by means of computer programs. Also, the results of such a model can be called a rendering.

The intro for the 3DIcon board (TDCP) has been updated with the renderings and the Schott blog, along with other updates as well.

Fair enough, but 3DIcon website already includes these types of depictions. (recall the blue translucent cityscapes etc). In fact a couple are on this forum in the intro, (the security scanner, medical scene, and airtraffic control).

Google 'volumetric display' for countless more examples.
This shouldn't be anything new to potential investors.

This recent page is just a couple simple illustrations added to the Schott blog.

And its already been well established Schott is partnering with 3DICon, so again, Im not sure why this got everyone so excited, unless they were mistaken for actual prototype photographs.
