I too have reversed my position, at this time, and today released my decision via proxy. That does not mean I will not support a future effort on this same effort. It is just at this time, from what I have been able to determine via Interdigital's own disclosure, I do not believe these options are necessary. If they loosen up with their information and provide a sound basis which changes my thinking, I will change my position. For me today, this is how I see it.
And, I might add, this is the first time since my initial investment in 1994 that I have opposed a management effort. I do not have any second thoughts, today.

voting "no" on #2 lean far more towards management punishment than sound financial reasoning.

This is precisely why we have what is known as the rule of completeness under the law. That post was about value. I stand by what was contained in that post because it was illicited by misleading polyanna statements of the great work of management. Ericy was an OK result involving technology before this group's time. Is that bashing? I think not. Is painting the result and the increased share price as a big deal done by this group hyping? I think yes. You may be ready to trade in the bus for convertibles and a ticker tape parade, but I am not over this result. If this group can now get AT&T, Lucent, Nortel, Motorola, Alcatel, a host of japanese companies who ceased paying and others that do not come to mind to start paying during the wind up of 2g, then I will drive the convertible of your choice with the management people of your choice.

The post also involved why the people involved sold into the news. Picking out a few lines does not paint the entire picture. Now, I do not wish to clutter this board arguing with you. You have my email and I will defend each and every post that you identify as being objectionable. i am voting my position for the reasons stated. If it makes you feel good to portray me as a liar, it is OK with me.
