#83758 RE: Inorout #83756

my terminology was inaccurate but true to the spirit of the event. no, wifidelity is not a wholly-owned subsidiary. however, (and if you would have done even a bare minimum of DD you would know this) wifidelity was created by tim peabody (verifying documents are readily available online) to resell wlan equipment as well as install and service it. they are an independent legal entity, so technically they are not a subsidiary, but they deal exclusively in wlan products, give 30% of sales to wlan, and target the municipal market while wlan proper targets larger opportunities, such as their operations in the Dominican Republic. so, in effect, they are a subsidiary of wlan. do just a little more DD and you will see that peabody has created several similar legal entities that i speculate will be brought on-line as demand for wlan products increases. this demonstrates to me that they have put A LOT of long-term forethought and planning into wlan and have all the legal infrastructure in place to scale up their operations exponentially when the time comes.

bam!
