I have heard many horror stories about medical insurance. I guess I am lucky because my husband's insurance is the old fashioned kind........not an HMO. We can go to any doctor we want without asking permission and the insurance will cover 80% of the reasonable and customary after we pay the $150 deductible. Now if we do choose to go to a doctor that is in the "plan" we only pay a co-pay which I think is about 20 bucks. The best part of all of this is that the insurance is free. My husband is in a union and they still get 100% medical insurance for the family for free. Uh oh.....did I just start a new topic???? Unions???? I'm going to bed!!!!! :-)
