I wasn't debating.... I agreed with you. If my child got hurt playing at someone's house I would take him to the hospital and I have medical insurance that would cover the costs. My point ( I guess you didn't get it) was that people sue very easily these days and the example I gave was from many years ago when suing people and putting in questionable insurance claims wasn't used as a quick way to make a buck like it is now.
Seems to me that if you invite two baseball teems to your diamond you are becoming a public facility. I think Susie is right. I already have insurance on my kid. So I will seek the bill payment from them. Why should I sue the homeowner or any one else. More importantly why should we pay for this insurance more than once. This is just Insurance BS. How about I insure my kid and you insure yours.
