Two things, large short position will have be covered at some point...probably starting at the agreed buyout price. Problem now is, there is still short selling going on, keeping the price down...they are banking on CEO being a crook or R/S. IMO.
Once they realize the game is up...no more short selling...cover buying instead...you get my drift. All in theory and MO.
