You didnt assume that they had patents in the US , you were told that they did.

And that is false.

It is great to ask questions. Ever since I received a spam email promoting Mantra 6 months ago I have asked MANY questions and all the answers I received formed my opinion of this company.

Keep in mind that the wording in issued patents is fixed, and patents pending can be changed on demand.:-)
