You need to include all of the words in a quote to be honest here.
They will not be able to produce until 2015 for LARGE scale applications. They are already producing - and SELLING - some of their silk. I know for a fact that you can purchase their cosmetic silk material - and the price is definitely making them nice money.
They have an actual functioning company - KBLB has Kim and a part time grunt.

Well, that argument works both ways. We don't really know what KBLB's exact product applications pertain to, we can only speculate....just as we have to do with AMSILK. We know that WM is in a JV with Kraig to do something with MS that Howland admitted might take years. We know at one time Kim was concerned about competitors and timing. To blatantly dismiss AMSILK in whatever application they intend for their products would be foolish IMO. Kraig and WM JV/application MAY put them a leg ahead for product(s) in a specific category like AMSILK's MAY....
