Maybe if the SEC were as chatty as Tom, there'd be another side to the story presented that would make far more sense for everyone to understand why the action was taken to suspend the stock.

CEOs of suspended stocks always claim their innocence.

$FRTD: Indeed this is AMERICA!!

I'm PESONALLY WILLING TO THROW $$ AT THE PROBLEM HERE!
If it TURNS OUT THAT $FRTD has NOT COMMITED ANY WRONG DOING WHATSOEVER. I will FILE A LAWSUIT Here in CALI, in the MOST CONSERVATIVE COUNTY.

At a BARE Minimum there will be a SUBPEONA Issued for the Names listed as SEC Contacts!
We'll go from there..........

FINRA's main office is in Rockville, Maryland. There are a lot of employees. But usually they don't spend two hours or more on a phone call unless they have serious questions. Parilla can't, of course, be sure he answered them satisfactorily. FINRA often handles the early stages of investigations, and then makes referrals to the SEC.

Who are they to say the PR's don't look valid?

Simply reading them raises many, many questions. The SEC may also have called some people unrelated to the company.

Whether they did or not, though, that screwed up quarterly is VERY problematic.

SEC is a collection of clueless idiots drunk on power.

I am hearing that they don't even have to have any evidence of a company being guilty of any wrong doing.

they can suspend any stock they want merely on a hunch or a suspicion or even just for the hell of it.

some of the old bags are against the legalization of cannabis there. they are doing all they can to stifle the industry.

Well, if I were a reasonable person (which I am) and I stumbled upon reading such turd as FRTD's yesterday's quarterly report and I got to this part:

Then this part:

At which point I'd go:

Parilla swears there is a complete file on each PR with the contract or agreement information in it, and contact information for the company they signed the deal with

That is so professional. Why didn't he just produce it for shareholders to see?

Top Secret?

For good reasons I bet.

Parilla claimed the call with Heffern was just the two of them, and it went very well, and there was no problems raised by Finra at all.

Thanks for posting that Bingo22. It would not surprise me if the SEC is just as corrupt as every other govt. agency.

I'm a shares holder here as well. Own 365K at .02..If he has the contract info for all the PR's then the SEC, should do the right thing and reinstate FRTD to trading Bottom line..Don't think it will happen , but it should.. But the damage is done. The only way this will end up good for us share holders is if the take over happens before the opening bell on 6/6.. Sorry but gotta be realistic. GLTA and may God bless us all..

The SEC is a joke. They do nothing about the abuse of naked shorting by MM's in the penny stock markets and they 'protect' investors by arbitrarily suspending stocks without any proof of wrongdoing, merely 'suspicions'. Bottom line is if you trade pennies ,don't expect 'Fairness' or 'Truth' from anyone. That includes the SEC, all CEO's and other posters. It's simply the Wild West here.
