Another way to do it is to only do the delayed trade on a reversal IF IS IS STILL OUTSIDE THE HOLD ZONE. This will keep you from trading on the smaller swings and you will miss those, but you will be able to take greater advantage of the larger swings.

Maybe use AIM with a 13 and 30 day moving average crossover.
