I think a lot of car owners would love their car to last forever...especially Camry owners which I am one. I love my car. I need no other. The US auto industry built obsolescence into their junk cars until JAPAN started building quality....then it took the old fogies at the top of US car companies YEARS to get with the program. I can guarantee if cars are made to last for decades...there will be buyers. Especially with Electric or Fuel Cell...where there is no limit to the body styles that can be created.
