>>Free members can only post on stock boards.

Only recently is that statement true.

>>So it is free members on stock boards that are the ADMIN problems.

Nope. It was in the Free Zone where the problemos were happening. Since the changeup, I've had next to no problems with the offtopic boards. Business as usual on the stock boards.

Dear a most powerful & influential iHub person,

aTalks of Bob + Matt + Churak to be put into gotmilkSpeak

Matt's iHub Business Plan: make enough $$$ to buy KKD

Matt thanks his lucky stars that his hobby of the stock market
brang into focus the arena where he is able to capture for profit
the stock talk of people investing in the markets.

These markets, the DOW, Nasdaq, BB and Pinks, unlike other
topics folks engage in for talk, have connected to it a money issue,
as in to make money from investing cash, meaning as Bob & Matt
have spoken, people will go to where the money is, using money.

As Bob stated, bottom line is that advertisers will pay to display products
only if the audience has both a desire and the money means to buy,
and those in the markets have the cash per se their focus.

As Matt stated, iHub obtains a revenue stream from paying members,
or those of the FREE membership viewing advertisements.

As Bob stated, advertisers need that audience with cash available,
and the stock market focus "is them."

Eventually iHub gets a revenue stream from every visitor
of paying, FREE and eyeballs, only if the chicken & egg
of advertisements is fullfilled by the correct audience.

Question in the form of iHub's Business Plan is how to acquire
them "good" visitors is to simple "corner the market" of them
by eventually making it so that the serious people in the markets
of Raging Bull, Yahoo, and MootyFools arrive to iHub/Si such that
the quality high paying advertisement leave Raging Bull, Yahoo, and MootyFools,
and migrate to where the audience they want to receive their ads are,
being iHub/Si.

Then the revenue from paying members (no more Lifers allowed)
as a revenue stream will have an equally strong ad revenue stream.

But first need to have the serious investing populace leave them
other sites like RB etc and make iHub/Si their home as either
a paying member or a FREE seeing ads, and then the high paying
ads will leave RB etc and arrive here as the "only place."

iHub's Business Plan: Focus on the serious market investor.

Churak,

I really think that your thinking on this is all backwards.

As we have watched IHUB grow, it is apparent that Matt is correct in that it is those FREE Members who come to the site and get in trouble (jailed/suspended) for their comments on the NON STOCK Boards here.

Don't you see that the OFF TOPIC BOARDS actually ARE a "value added feature" for PAID MEMBERS?

Your thought process is flawed on this issue. If FREE Members can post on OFF TOPIC Boards as well as STOCK BOARDS, the desire to even become a Premium Member diminishes!!!

Matt's recent decision to this is actually a good way to add to the value of joining IHUB as a member.

Although your Halfway House Board brought a lot of RB Members over here for free before the change, it is easy to see that IHUB doesn't seem to need that kind of "membership help" any longer. Don't get me wrong. Like you, I have done my share to help grow this website over the years, but it is obvious that as the website continues to grow, IHUB needs to keep a tight control on how the website actually "functions".

I agree with Matt's statement that you are an influential member of IHUB. I think there are other ways to continue to add new members to IHUB, but I sadly suspect that Matt and Bob likely have their hands full with the new acquistion of SI, and will need some time (as well as keeping open ears to our suggestions) to continue to grow a financial message board that clearly is poised to become the number one Financial Website on the Internet given a bit more time.

Try to not be so cynical about all this. Surely you agree that it has been great watching and assisting IHUB in it's stellar growth.

Happy Anniversay Churak!

I just clicked on your profile and realized you've been a member of IHUB for a full year as of yesterday!

I guess you have a LOT to say, since I see that you have posted over twice the number of posts as I in one short year here vs. the length of time I've been around on IHUB!

Congrats!
